Machine translations

We have a policy on this Wikipedia that we do not accept machine translations, because such translations in Māori tend to be of poor quality, and most people who add such translations do not have the proficiency or interest to tidy them up. It's fine to use a machine translation as a start so long as you follow up, preferably before you save it.

With the article Rarangi o nga atua Maori you do not seem to have made any effort to improve on the raw translation. You have not done any significant wikification such as adding links to articles (redlinks are acceptable; I think almost all of this article will be redlinks, but that might inspire someone to write some articles), you have left in a template which doesn't exist on this Wikipedia, and you have included a "See also" from the English version but such sections should not contain unlinked or redlinked items. The formatting is inconsistent between sections, and there is a space missing after the comma on the first line. You did not add any categories: you could create Category:Atua or use Category:Kōrero tuku iho. In short, this article is a good example for why we do not accept machine translations.

Please do some cleanup on the article, because otherwise it is lowering the already poor quality of this version of Wikipedia.

I also note that Poraka Hangahanga has some Chinese characters in the article, which should be translated, and the second column of the table contains redlinked entries which are not te reo Māori and thus are generally not appropriate for articles.

I gave you a few days to clean it up but you didn't. It's almost six months later, and we are not going to accept an article in that state for so long.
