Nice to see someone developing this Wikipedia. Unfortunately, there are no other active users here who speak the language. I'm an admin here. If you need any assistance, feel free to ask me. Translation request[takatā pūtake]

Hi EUvin! Would you be so kind to help me translate this article into the wonderful Maori language? Please. It's about a Chinese philosopher and is listed as one of the articles every Wikipedia should have. If you think that article is too long, here is a shot version: "Confucius was a Chinese thinker and social philosopher, whose teachings and philosophy have deeply influenced Chinese, Korean, Japanese and Vietnamese thought and life. His philosophy emphasized personal and governmental morality, correctness of social relationships, justice and sincerity." Thanks a lot! --Amaqqut

Thank you all the same:)--Amaqqut 14:25, 14 Oketopa 2009 (UTC)[reply]

lithuania[takatā pūtake]

I have reverted the article to lithuania - do you have a source for Rituānia as the Māofi word? Kahuroa 06:32, 29 Māehe 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Yes I have [1]
Yes, I found that and reverted the changes. I have marked these files/pages created by you for deletion:
  • File:Font types.svg - could you please upload this to Commons, which has the procedures to check copyright etc.

I also deleted a number of pictures of currency which were not in use - could you upload them to Commons, which has the procedures to check copyright etc.

Some of your other pages I have fixed the Māori language on. Although it is good that you want to contribute, it's clear you don't know enough Māori to write grammatically. At the mooment there is no community here to fix up these errors so I do not want a repeat of the situation a few years ago where we had hundreds of articles written in substandard Māori. I guess I want to draw a line so that if a community ever does develop, the language on the site will be of a good level. And because Māori is an endangered language, I feel it is vital that all material on the internet should be such as to inspire pride in the language and in this site. I trust you will understand Kahuroa 08:35, 29 Māehe 2010 (UTC)[reply]

OK, thank you :-) I really don't speak maori, but I was interested in creating some articles in the wiki. I'll fix things when I will have time. EUvin 09:05, 29 Māehe 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I went ahead and deleted File:Font types.svg now that you have replaced it on Momotuhi with one from Commons. I will give you a couple of weeks to place content on the other two articles I mention above, but please don't expect me to translate for you - I am not a freelance translator. Kahuroa 10:03, 29 Māehe 2010 (UTC)[reply]
:'D I write what is interesting for me in several minority language wikis, and noone told me that he is not a freelance translator. How old are you, Mr. Great Administrator? EUvin 11:30, 29 Māehe 2010 (UTC)[reply]
