Scope

Excuse my English but I'm trying to figure out what the scope is of this article. All references are dead. Is this about the suburb of Whanganui? The Wikidata entry is empty. Schwede66 (talk) 17:55, 19 Māehe 2019 (UTC)

I think you are correct. In the mid-19th century this was a substantial Māori settlement.[1] Since this has been created by a bot, and there are no live references, I would consider deleting it if someone tagged it and no one objected.-gadfium (talk) 19:00, 19 Māehe 2019 (UTC)

Translation of the 1st para:- Putiki is a locality in the Manawatū-Whanganui region. According to LINZ, a locality is a place inhabited by people, but the population has not yet reached the size where it would be called a town.
