Talk:Korokio

A much-branched shrub to 3m with stiff interlacing branches. Leaves alternate, smooth margined and densely covered with white hairs below, 5-15cm long x 1-3cm wide. Star like yellow flowers then red, yellow or orange drupes in autumn. Flowering is from mid-spring to early summer, with the berries ripe through summer to mid-autumn Common throughout NZ in dry rocky places.
